Detached 4 Bedroom Dwelling House, Timperley, Altrincham, Cheshire (Trafford Council)
The proposals sought to retain and enhance the character of the existing housing stock whilst creating a complementary development. The appearance of the dwelling reflects the neighbouring buildings and will use similar materials in its construction but composed in a modern and contemporary manner.
The dwelling was designed and sited with regards to the immediate context and supplementary guidance on new residential development. The proposed front elevation of the dwelling respects the staggered building line along the road.
The planning permission created a potential, on paper profit, of around £100,000 although our client decided, ultimately to construct the house themselves to realise further profit.
